Description
The arc
Opens with sweet vanilla cream and a touch of cedar. The middle finds stone fruit and burnt sugar, cream and vanilla warming into crème brûlée. Toasted almond carries the last third, like a twice-baked almond croissant. It stays smooth and courteous until your fingertips get hot. Never bites, never gets mean.
The details
Bright white ash, thick white smoke, an even burn the whole way down.
