These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of boundcigars.com and any purchase you make from Bound Cigars (“Bound,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Texas business located at 1 Chisholm Trail, Suite 450, Round Rock, TX 78681. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy.
1. You must be 21 or older
We sell tobacco products. You must be at least 21 years old, and of legal age to buy tobacco products where you live, to enter this site or buy from us. By using the site, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Every order is subject to age verification at checkout through a third-party verification provider. We will cancel and refund any order that cannot be verified. Buying on behalf of, or for delivery to, anyone under 21 is prohibited.
2. Where we sell and ship
We ship only to addresses in the United States. We do not ship to California, Hawaii, or Utah, or to any other location where delivery sales of tobacco products are prohibited or restricted. We may update this list as laws change. We may cancel any order we cannot legally fulfill. See our Shipping & Returns Policy for details.
3. Products
Our cigars are handmade from natural tobacco leaf. Color, size, and appearance can vary slightly from product photos, and tasting notes describe our experience, not a guarantee of how a cigar will taste to you.
Health warning: Cigars are not a safe alternative to cigarettes. Cigar smoking can cause cancers of the mouth and throat, even if you do not inhale.
4. Personal use only
Products sold on this site are for personal use. They may not be resold without the licenses and permits required by law. For wholesale inquiries, email drew@boundcigars.com.
5. Orders, pricing, and payment
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Applicable sales and tobacco excise taxes are added at checkout where required.
- Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including for failed age verification, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, quantity limits, or pricing and listing errors. If we cancel after you have been charged, we will refund you in full.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information and to pay all charges at the prices in effect when you order. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor.
6. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping, risk of loss, damaged or incorrect orders, cancellations, and refunds are covered by our Shipping & Returns Policy, which is part of these Terms.
7. Accounts
An account is required to place an order. Because every purchase must be age verified and tied to the adult who placed it, we do not offer guest checkout. You create your account during checkout.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under it. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to bypass age verification, submitting false information, interfering with the site’s security or operation, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual property
The Bound name, Northbound, our logos, the square knot mark, and all site content, including text, photography, and design, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not use them without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except those that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bound will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bound harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or of any law, including laws on the purchase and use of tobacco products.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you have a concern, please email us first; most issues can be resolved quickly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
